Hardin-Simmons' athletic department held its fourth annual Special Olympics Track and Field Day on Thursday(April 9) at the HSU Track Complex as part of the NCAA National Division III Week.

Hardin-Simmons senior Dustin Baker won two events and placed in the top five in five events overall. Texas-Tyler sophomore Whitney Simmons recorded the longest hammer throw in Division III this season.
